Matthew Chan, MD, MPH, FACOEM

I believe in helping people work healthy so they can live well.  We place our identities in our careers, spend most of our waking hours at work, and oftentimes derive meaning and purpose from our vocation.  As such, it is imperative that health problems related to work, and work problems related to health are appropriately addressed to optimize function, productivity and fulfillment.  To that end, I strive to provide services that address the whole person within the context of the life they live at work and home.

I am board certified in Occupational and Environmental Medicine by the American Board of Preventive Medicine.  My residency training was done at Loma Linda University, and I did an Internal Medicine internship with the US Navy.  I have a Masters in Public Health with an emphasis in Lifestyle Medicine.  I am a Fellow of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine.  My clinical practice is at Adventist Health Glendale Occupational Medicine Center.
